I love my Custom Slate Calls and Batwing and Combo Cut Mouth Calls! I am truely amazed at how easy these calls are! I think I converted my Uncle to Hendershot calls from HS Strut Smile

I just started to practice with friction calls a couple months ago and the slate call is easy to use...I love it. The mouth calls are the easiest 3 reeds I have used.

The one thing I have always loved about the Hendershot calls is the sound. Just a truly amazing true to the bird sound. Easy to use is a huge help but just the sound is amazing. But when it is built by the champ what else can you expect. But there needs to be a warning on them Last weekend on our youth hunt we called in 2 long beards to within 6 ft of a young man. A tad too close !!! But still they came on a string.

The ones I use have a raspy sound them and love that raspiness. Get a response a lot with the raspy sounding calls

they need to have a warning label on them...that they may cause turkeys to come to within 6ft...had that this past weekend and never had one quite that close till Hendershot

We are having good luck with them so far this season, just the shooting positions have been the hard part. We got the gobblers to start coming in on Thursday, just got to get everything going right to finish the job.
