I like to use either Goldfish, chicken liver that has been baked in the sun all day. Or I like to use night crawlers with WD-40 sprayed on them, sounds crazy but it works well also.

I use Sunnys Super Sticky for Chanel's and Blues...I've caught them up to 16 pounds on it....for bigger Chanel's and blues I use creek chubs....live, cut, or smashed....sunfish and bullheads for flatheads....those are my main baits.....here's a few more that work great at times.....peeled crawfish tails....fresh water clams right out of the shell....blood bait (drifted)....livers(turkey or chicken)....squirrel guts chicken guts.....if you can find a steep dirt bank along a river or lake that has an active population of cliff swallows the just hatched or ready to hatch chicklings work great

Lol...Catfish and me have never got along. I don't really go catfishing, but they always seem to find me when I am bass or crappie fishing. I caught a 5lb catfish on a little itty bitty crappie lure last year...talk about a fight..geez.
